CIA and Ukraine

This is from the NY times. It pushes my thoughts several directions so I'll try to organize them as best as i can.
First, it seems to justify Russia's concerns about Ukraine becoming a fob for western aggression.  Who would be ok with that on our borders? I understand that we need to develop assets against adversaries like Russia, but I don't think the color revolutions/Arab spring were truly in our best interests. I'm very suspicious of folks like Victoria Nuland and their efforts.
Second, it briefly mentions Ukraine Intel providing info on Russian interference in the 2016 elections. To me, that  is laughable. The ridiculous Steele dossier was paid for by HRC's campaign and the Russian's contributed heavily to the Clinton foundation.  To play devil's advocate, Trump wasn't a big supporter of Ukraine, but I don't think the Russians would've known that in advance. The Biden/burisma mess (not mentioned in the article) ads to my thoughts that there was more personal enrichment than national security interests involved here.
Im not a fan of Russia or Ukraine, although I was initially sympathetic of Ukraine's struggle against the Russians. Maybe Russia would advance beyond Ukraine to other Soviet era territories, but I don't know, that's way beyond my limited knowledge.
Anyway, here's the link. It's a long article, but worth your time, in my humble opinion.

I'd trust him if he had folks working for him that believed in America. In his current condition he's only a rubber stamp for for his "underlings".  He is clearly just a senile old man being used as the third Obama administration. While I can't see where he's ever put America's interests above his own, I feel pity for him in his current state, being used like that. Really he's just a box of tissue paper at the fundamental transformation of America adult theatre.

Hummm, my earlier post seemed to have disappeared🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

With Putin you know where you stand

Who knows who is pulling Biden’s strings, lots of assumptions but no facts. His wife is also complicit in his elder abuse & criminal cartel but she is never mentioned or investigated

Biden is a disaster to America and when he gets really elected or big Mike/Newsom gets placed as “president” it’s all over

I don’t think Obama is pulling his strings, it’s a younger more far leftist/socialist woke group of some kind that’s yanking his chains
A video from Victor David Hanson that sort of fits in here.
