What’s the secret to getting these things sized correctly so they are comfortable

Tried em on again today at the ranch store & just could not get them to fit right & they even had some cool insulated ones

Willing to try them with a shoulder holster if I could just find comfortable ones & the wife stops laughing at me

I can't tell you how to do that but I've found bib overalls would pinch me in the crotch during extended drives.

You have to go commando , have a straw hat, spit chew all over yourself, never wash them, sleep in them, and your shirt has to be short enough you can see the skin on your hips from the side.

🤣

Their size is determined more by your chest size than waist size. Or maybe between your chest and your waist size. First pair I tried on, I went by my waist size and couldn't get into them. The store clerk asked me what size jacket I wore, and I told him 44 short. He handed me some 44 overalls, and they fit. The final fit has to be done with the straps, of course. And you can't get a final fit on the straps until they've been washed a couple of times. After the second washing, I get my wife to adjust the straps while I'm wearing them. Properly adjusted, the crotch hangs about the same as bluejeans.

Around home, my redneck shoulder holster works pretty well.
