They don't look that bad in person. I think it's a result of the material used - it's hard to explain, but the "polymer" isn't perfectly smooth and shiny.
They are a different shade of grey (more of a brown/grey) than my other CMMG mags, but they are identical in every way.
Maybe they were blems? Maybe a special contract run for Arms Unlimited?
Regardless, for well under $8 each vs $20, I'm OK with the way they look.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but twice now, when quoting someone, my comment ends up looking like it's part of the quoted post.

Here's some pics of the 22 AR mags I got from Arms Unlimited.

The lighter colored one was purchased years ago and came in CMMG packaging.
These ones from AU come loose, without packaging.




The irregular coloration seen in photos is a result of the material used - it seems "porous" for lack of a better word.
It LOOKS worse than it feels.





You can see it in the lighter grey mag too, but it's less pronounced.
