Did DOGE make me a HAM?

Is that what happened? DOGE cancelled licensing for all amateur radios? Does that count include HAM? I only paid a few bucks for my GMRS license anyway. Does that mean you need a license, but it doesn’t cost anything? Do I still have to take the test? Or just ask for the license and they send it (like a CB license back in the day)? Will there be any free Obama radios, or was that just cell phones?

I didn't see anything about ham radio licensing changes on the FCC site, so I'm taking a wait and see attitude on it.
