PHILADELPHIA (November 18, 2024) – Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) announced that it has filed its opening brief with the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Cheeseman v. Platkin, its lawsuit challenging New Jersey’s ban on so-called “assault weapons.” The brief can be viewed at firearmspolicy.org/cheeseman.
