Goldbelly & Big Bob Gibson BBQ

Since my foot is wrapped up like a mummy & I’m hobbling around unsteady & wobbly we went looking for BBQ Vs attempting to do it on the Traeger

Ended up with a big box from Alabama with 2 pounds of brisket (in 1pound packages) a whole chicken in white sauce & a pound of pulled pork along with a bottle of red sauce & mustard sauce

So ya throw the bag into a pot of boiling water for 30 minutes & so far the brisket & pork have been really tasty & the BBQ sauces are superb….

Can’t remember the last time I had a chicken in white sauce & looking forward to that even if it’s going to be messy

Was $160 shipped & while expensive we have 4 days worth of BBQ like nothing we can get in the area so I’m ok with paying $40 a day/meal we throw sides on and still have leftovers. It’s cheaper than driving 50 miles to the closest BBQ joint and better……

Think we shall try the white sauced BBQ chicken tomorrow and the last brisket Monday

Ribs….yummmmmmmmm

the chicken was different in the white sauce, was peppery and sort of like mayonnaise but vinegar

can’t say I’ve ever had anything like it before
