38 above today. Hard to think it was 46 below just a couple days ago.
It's going to be 23 tonight which means, without my heat pump, it'll be about 37 - 40 in the house. I'll be sleeping on my living room couch with the cats so Ii can run the space heater to keep it warm enough for them. I'll let y'all know if I survive.

I survived and so did the cats. Never having slept n it before, I didn't realize just how much my couch's pull out bed SUCKS!!! The 2 small space heaters in the living room kept the temp iin the 60s. The outside temp right now is 28 degrees.

Those hide a beds suck! Glad you made it through the night ok.
I had to replace the high temperature safety switch on my propane furnace 2 days ago. Time to order a couple more spares, I'm down to 1 spare now and they go bad at least once a year or so.

Good morning! 26 here with light snow/frizzle headed this way. High today of 35, so some may or may not stick. Tonight looks like we get ice, and I just found out my generator is not working right. Only one leg of 240 output is working.
22 Last night and 27 right now. And now our microwave just crapped out. It was working perfectly yesterday and now it’s not. Set the time to heat and start, shuts off after 1 second. Another expense I don’t need right now.
