Tried Carhartt & Duluth trading overalls & did not like how they fit, was not able to get them adjusted right & were either to small/tight or sloppy large & I wear loose fitting clothes

no idea why, but I never see anyone wearing them around here & can’t remember the last time I saw someone wearing them

There is that. I carry my lc9s in a pocket holster but anything bigger (easier to shoot well) wouldn't be good in a pocket holster.
Maybe a shoulder rig would be the answer to that problem.

At home/in town my normal carry is the 632UC J frame 6 shot revolver & might have 1 speed strip reload with me

on roadtrip’s (or to Colorado) the 632 is accompanied by a Staccato C2 with 16rds in the gun and some times a spare 20rd magazine in a Milt Sparks VG2 holster

no idea how a shoulder holster would work with overalls, that’s an interesting idea

A shoulder holster will work fine with overalls. I've done it.
My daily carry is usually a 1911 of some flavor. Lately it’s been the Tisas Yukon but I carried and still carry on occasion a light weight commander 45acp for most of the last 10 years.

But I also carry weird stuff. Last time I went to town I strapped on an old Ruger 3 screw 357mag and didn’t in any way feel under gunned. I also often carry a double action 44 mag or some other flavor of big bore revolver.

When we go to the city I usually carry a Glock 19 with the J frame in my pocket as a back up.
