For me, primers are a bigger issue. Price and availability are sketchy at best. When you can find them, you'll pay 7-10 times as much as you did before the plandemic and FJB stealing the election.

Powder price and availability is stupid too, but I saw the writing on the wall long enough ago that I now have more than I'm likely to use in my lifetime.

I’ve got some powder and some primers. Not tons of either, but some.

My issue is if I’m the only one at the range shooting, I’ll stand out like a sore thumb. And if I don’t practice, why have the stock of ammo?

I have enough of both for my needs.

You should have at least enough ammo on hand to be able to generate more.......and that generally means you should practice at least a little. Shooting well is a perishable skill.

That's amazing! I recently gave a partial can of 4064 to a friend that had a price tag on it marked $15.95!   It doesn't seem that long ago.

I'm still working on the last of an 8lb keg of Unique that I paid $69 for. I even have 2400 in one of those short square 1lb cans that's unopened.

Yeah, it was only 4 years ago I was buying Hodgdon powders for $17 wholesale including shipping and thinking it was expensive because I remember buying it for $7 a pound back in the day. Operation chokepoint is still going strong I see.
