In my opinion, wars were fought in the past to destroy the enemy. Now that we have smart munitions, it seems no collateral damage is accepted. That's a pair of handcuffs no soldiers should have to wear. Our enemies take full advantage of our attempts to be nice.

He also wrote the PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC series, novels which come mighty close to reality today..definitely worth the read..
