So Lakewood made the world news, some citizens set up a meeting with the mayor about how Lakewood is a sanctuary city
The Mayor & city council said they are not a sanctuary city but they asked Denver what they could do to help with the overwhelming criminal aliens that denver is dealing with and that’s crushing a superb trauma hospital to the point of bankruptcy
Only problem is Lakewood has 2 hotels that are housing criminal aliens at the taxpayers expense (Denver is paying for them)
Lakewood police and the sheriff department refuse to cooperate with ICE/Homeland Security in holding and deporting criminal aliens
But they ain’t a “sanctuary city” how fucking stupid do they think the citizens are?
Last time we were in Denver, I was driving & they wife tried taking pictures but did not turn out…… a couple neighborhoods in Denver looked like a 3rd world country tents, plywood structures on the sidewalk and crime is so bad people don’t even call the cops anymore
