Meta Quest 3 & Ace VR Handgun….

Been looking long and hard at this, it would be expensive at first but depending on how much you shoot it will pay for itself in saved ammo costs

All kinds of different handguns are available from 3d printers so you don’t need to be stuck with one grip

But you need the VR headset (Quest 3) & I’ll need glasses inserts and then a subscription but it’s got a good law enforcement/military discount

Don’t have airsoft or BB guns & don’t want to freeze to death in my backyard 6-7 months out of the year

That is the beauty of airsoft. Take a cardboard box and put some wadded up newspaper in it, tape it closed and shoot the hell out of it. If the bb's start going through add more newspaper. When you run out of bb's open the box and they will be there waiting for you. They will usually penetrate 1 layer of cardboard but the newspaper and the second layer of cardboard are just too much to get through.

Also, hang a piece of carpet in a box. Much easier to retrieve the pellets.

I just use an old towel. The pellets collect in the bottom of the box. The towel will also stop metal bbs. I use a tall, wide and shallow box I can tape a photo target to:

Here are my practice pistols:

The 1911 and PPK slides operate like the real thing and provide a little simulated recoil. The Glock does not. The Glock with the operating slide cost about 100 bucks more when I bought this one. These are all steel BB and CO2 guns. I used to have an airsoft gun but gave it to a friend so he could practice more. I still have plenty of the airsoft pellets so I plan on getting another gun in the near future.

Been looking at options, I like how the VR game is physical, it gets you up and moving, running different stages in whatever space you give it and I need that

I know if I do the air soft in a box thing, I’ll sit on the sofa and couch tater

Have your wife position it somewhere in the house, garage or backyard you don't know where then turn out the lights, grab gun and flash and go hunting.

Good idea, just not in the backyard, have had shots fired in the area 3 times in the past 4 weeks and people are paranoid & would call the cops on me

oh and it’s illegal to shoot a BB/airsoft gun in the city limits. Seems a few years back high school thugs were driving around shooting cars/houses and even a couple other teenagers so they pushed this thru
