This broccoli salad is excellent for hot days. I don't have a recipe but you can figure it out easily.
Cut some broccoli into bite size florets. Cut some tomatoes into wedges. ( I know it's blasphemy but I actually prefer plum or canning tomatoes). Cut onions into strips (sweet is ok, but I prefer yellow onions). If you like a little bite in your salad add some fresh minced garlic. Don't bother with that store bought minced garlic in the jars, it's too mild. I've found that garlic that has some red or purple in the husk is the hottest.
Toss that with some Italian dressing, either creamy or not, depending on your preference. Let the flavors blend for at least an hour in the fridge. Time is your friend here.
Besides the flavor, the combination of red white and green colors makes a great presentation! Serve cold.
