Some of the parts I ordered started showing up today. Swapped out the grips with the new VZ grips today and added the Wilson magwell. These new grips really transformed this gun for me, not only in the way it looks, but also in the way it feels since I don't like slim profile grips on a 1911. The frag pattern VZ grips are pretty aggressively textured which I like.
