Spirits Review #47: Charing Cross  - London Dry Gin!

Bottom Line: Dark citrus on the nose with a light alcohol burn. Sweetness & fruit, probably Juniper, followed by bitterness and heat on the tongue. Ice tames the heat. 4 Thumbs down!

I've only tried gin a few times but whether straight or in a cocktail I could never get past the juniper taste.  I'd give it 4 thumbs down even though I only have 2 thumbs.

Ugh….hate gin straight up & on ice it’s only slightly better 🤮🤮🤮

Gin & tonic is my go to drink in hot weather, I don’t have a favorite gin but Hendricks cucumber gin is really good & Bombay or Tanqueray when it’s a traditional G&T

I drank my share of gin tonics in Key West in late 75 - early 76 when I was in Navy A school. I liked them then. Haven't had one since.

I drank rum runners in key west, hated rum and could not drink it since the early 80’s but for some reason in key west they were really tasty
