I confess not knowing exactly what to do with my pistol braces. Keep them? (Spent too much on them to destroy them.) Box them up and let a ‘non gun’ friend store them? Seal in PVC and bury?
As it turns out, being a member of FPC, I didn’t have to wait long and I never had to decide. Both my pistols- 350 L and 450 B -have filled deer tags, the 450 out to 100 yards, and that wouldn’t have happened without braces on them (my son might still have gotten one of his at 25 yds with the 350L sans a brace). I have a TailHook brace on both and they’re perfect for hunting- they deploy quickly and silently, no Velcro, no awkward flaps around your arm.
