All this talk of you won't be given more than you can handle.......I don't know about that!!! It never ends, IT NEVER ENDS. The mare needed to go to the vet....complications from the recent shoeing and just how she is made. Same time the wife is having issues. She was in horrible pain for three days. She cannot get into her doctor until Tuesday. We knew a trip to the ER was in our immediate future for her. My wife is a tough and stubborn soul. The horse had to come first. I left work a little early to help her and we get the horse to the vet. In the middle of the vet visit (4.5 hours) My wife's issue unloads. I wont go into detail but we had an emergency on our hands. She calmly goes to the truck and shows me the issue. I race back into the vet office for supplies and race back out to her. I tell the vet office what is happening and we take off for home. Once home the wife is able to control and take care of things.....nope not going to the ER until her horse is done. Back to the vet we go. On one of my sprints I pull a hamstring....bad. So now we are back home and put the horse away and took care of the other two. The wife went next door and took care of those animals as she is helping a neighbor.
Just how much more can one handle? I'm about tapped out.....and no, neither of us is going to the ER now.
