I need to figure out how to make pimento cheese as it’s 50 miles to Trader Joe’s & nobody sells it locally. Looks easy to make from all the on line recipes

Made macaroni salad yesterday morning (pasta that cools in a fridge for 24+ hours increases the resistance starch like rice and that’s a very good thing) & then had it with along with baked BBQ chicken legs tonight for dinner

This is the pimento cheese I've been eating since I was just a rugrat:

Frozen Detroit pizza from Costco and last can of diet Cheerwine

Went to order diet Cheerwine and ugh….

24 cans for $50 or 48 cans for $68 😱😱

Took me forever to kill 24 cans & that was only $30 & the price is crazy…

You did it now! Just your mention of egg drop soup triggered a strong craving. There's very little that's as fast and easy to make as egg drop soup. The local grocery store has chicken breasts on sale so I'm simmering 1/2 breast that I'll shred and add some of it to the soup for extra substance. Without adding chicken meat it only takes maybe 20 minutes to make a pot.[Image: 20240906-173314.jpg]

We had a "Mess" for dinner today. No photo, as I was too busy eating it to photograph it. Not very photogenic anyway, as it resembles its name. Sausage, bacon, onion, hash browns, cheese and scrambled eggs, all piled together on the plate.
