This is pretty simple to make and I've never had leftovers.
Don't cut the asparagus, but snap it to insure you get all the tough stringy parts out.
Put it on foil with enough extra foil to make a packet. Sprinke a fair amount of garlic powder on it and throw 2 or three tablespoons of butter on it. Seal the packet up and cook it towards the cool side of the BBQ grill.
