Glad your heater troubles were fixed and nothing too bad happened. I had a used RV that I had just bought and we took it camping over a three day weekend. I had just fired up the generator and the heater was running in the trailer. We were outside when I heard the generator sputter. I told the wife something was wrong and I ran into the trailer in time for it to fill with smoke. I got everything shut down and there was no flames. Turns out the capacitors in the heater for the blower burned out. The trailer stunk so bad. We loaded the horses up at 9 pm, loaded all our stuff in the truck and made sure the RV was not going to catch fire and we left for home. We got home after midnight and we went back up to the property the next day and hauled the RV home. I had the new heater installed on Monday and sold the trailer on Wednesday. I lost $500 bucks or so on the deal but that was worth it getting rid of that Rv.....I did not want to buy that one but the wife really wanted it....once it had trouble she was on board to dump it.
good morning!

55 Degrees at my house with a 45% chance of rain.

48 Degrees with more rain expected today at my house. Our cat Pumpkinhead barfed on our bedroom clock radio last night and fried it. That clock has been waking me up for the last 30 years! I'll never find another one like it. RIP faithful GE .

-32 at the cabin when I woke up today. I stuffed the woodstove full and suppose I'll not be doing much today. Wish I had my recording stuff down here and I would try to do a podcast episode, but everything is set up in the camper which is in the trucking yard in Fairbanks.
-32 is a bit chilly! I used to not be able to handle high temperatures but now I really dislike the cold. It got down to +27 here and that's cold enough for me.

Yeah it was a good day to stay inside. I started out trying to find an extra 9 round 10mm 1911 mag and then decided to gather up all of my 1911 mags, inspect, clean, and put away. That turned into me cleaning off the reloading bench and then I found some more 38 wadcutters so I’m working on loading those, and then I’ll probably load up some 454s for my carbine.
Been “cold” here 25* now but the wind is unforgiving, 65+ mph gusts & steady 25+ and it gets worse after dark
It’s easy to sleep during the day when the wind dies down (10-15mph) but sucks trying to sleep when the house feels like it’s moving & the wind is howling
45 and sunny at my house. Supposed to get down in the 30s tonight and all weekend. They're calling for possible wind gusts 30-40 mph.

27 here this morning on its way to 65. Got the second fire of the season in the wood stove.
