Good morning! 65 here, expecting a high of 88 with a 40% chance of rain. We got 1.6" yesterday afternoon and lost power for 3 hours, but all's well so far today.

Fawns are everywhere! I've already seen a newborn today. Yesterday the Does were restless and wandering around all day. I saw over a dozen babies just on my way to the store and back, and there will be a lot more after tonight when it storms again.

I finally got through to a human at the dumpster company yesterday. The guy I talked to said that the roofer had gone through a broker, and that they didn't have an order to pick it up yet but promised that they would come and get it out of my driveway this morning when I told them it had already been here for 2½ weeks for a one-day job. We'll see.

Good WetDay morning! 65 with thunderstorm in progress since about 0430. We have had rain every day of June so far. Weird, but I'll take it. My garden is loving it.

Obviously, the Dumpster company and I have very different ideas about what first thing in the morning is. They finally pulled in and picked that monstrosity up @ 3:15pm, but at least it's gone.

We took Pumpkinhead in for the consult with the internal medicine specialist yesterday. She might have pancreatitis, inflammation of the gall bladder & bile ducts, inflammatory bowel or a combination of the three called Triaditis. It will take more in depth testing to narrow it down.
Before doing anymore tests, the vet gave her a 30 day shot of corticosteroids to see if she starts gaining weight. Then we’ll go from there.
When it rains it biblically floods. I’ll keep y’all updated.

Stopped at Mc Donald’s to potty and for a coke in Sidney NE and got cardboard straws with a plastic cup

Asked why the cardboard straw & was told it helps save the planet from pollution….i held up the plastic cup and asked “what about this plastic” she shrugged her shoulders and walked away 🤣🤣
