We had the Department address that at a training session. He said they realize that just driving past a school or living next door might TECHNICALLY be a violation. But, he said, “We’re not interested in those people. We’re also not up for testing the strength of Castle Doctrine. We just don’t want people with weapons purposely entering school grounds.”
