the beauty of networking and experience

My best bud Jay has a son who owns a box truck and is brand new in trucking. Normally it takes more than a week to get into a shop. Jay introduced his son Eric to Brian High, owner of High's trailer repair.  Brian is booked up for weeks but he took care of Eric the same day. Brian is a personal friend of both Jay and I. It's so cool that Jay is able to work his son into our network of friends giving the kid a good running start into relationships that took us years to develop.

Jay and Eric live together and at 4 am Eric was panicking. His door locks were frozen and he couldn't get in the cab. Sometimes you need a non panicked set of eyes and Jay had Eric use a hair dryer on the lock. He thinks his Dad is a genius.
