I shot my daughter’s CVA Cascade in 350 Legend yesterday to start getting her ready for deer season. I am VERY impressed with this rifle! What a sweet shooting piece. Last year she shot two deer- one shot each- and neither one walked a step. The 350 L is such a mild recoil, it’s surprising how hard-hitting it is at the other end. My daughter likes a shorter pull and the Cascade has a convertible stock that has a removable slice to shorten it by an inch. I put a Vortex Diamondback on it because she likes the illuminated reticle. The combination makes for a real tack driver that is so sweet to shoot.

So, today I went to a funeral. I bought a button up shirt, black slacks and a tie. A friend had never seen me in anything but raggedy t shirt and khakis looked at me and said " Dang, you look like somebody hung a chandelier in an outhouse. Come here and let me tie your tie properly."

This rifle confuses gun snobs!

One of my favorite pastimes is arguing with gun snobs over various tier AR equipment!  I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoy top tier gear but I also love budget rifles...maybe more so the latter!  Right when they start calling me a "Poor," I whip out pics of my snob buster!  This bad boy is built on a coveted East Coast Gun lower made by LMT with a PSA upper, FN chrome lined barrel enhanced LPK, Toolcraft BCG and Magpul stock.  I also added a really nice UTG mono top quad rail drop in, Magpul light mount and Snap-on light.  The optic is Center Point from Walmart!  She's a mutt alright but what an amazing shooter!  Every thing fits together and it runs great!!

Now I have several LMT's, as well as a bunch of Anderson's and a Bushmaster...I can't tell the difference in any of them!  I may defend the poor man's rifle but I respect all opinions so I don't mean this to be a poor vs snob post...just showing off my mutt!!

Hey guys!  I just did a little forum adjustment to help keep things organized but easy to find!  I created a General Firearms category that now holds sub forums that can relate to all other firearms as well as AR's such as optics, cleaning and ammo/reloading.  It's just a minor adjustment to help keep things flowing!  If you see anything that should be placed elsewhere or anything that needs added...let me know!  It's doesn't take a congressional hearing or an act of God to get things fixed around here!  Big Grin
