Forum Background and Color

Is there a way to get rid of the picture in the background?  Make it one uniform color? Also, is there a light mode?  Dark backgrounds with white lettering mess up my eyes.

Pictures - Where do you want them?

I wanted to test out whether I can upload pics straight from my phone into posts on this forum.
Didn't see a "Pictures" sub-forum.

Edit: I don't see an icon above for inserting images from my phone - just from web pages.
I do see at the bottom the option to upload pics. Tried it, but image was too large.

Just a heads up that when I signed up, I didn't see the confirmation email initially. I waited an hour or so and nothing showed up, so I then checked my spam folder, and there it was.

Not sure if that's an issue on my end, or your end. Just mentioning it.
