Rum & Soda Review #14: Doorly’s XO Rum & Reed’s Real Ginger Ale!
Bottom Line: Rum: Very light alcohol on the nose & not much else. Oak and sweetness up front. Improves over ice. Soda: Ginger & citrus on the nose. Ginger up front followed by lime. Very lightly sweet. Rum: 3 Thumbs up. Soda: 1 Neutral thumb. Combo: 4 Thumbs down!
Spirits Review #13: The Sweet Shoppe- Pumpkin Pie Cream Liqueur!
Bottom Line: No pumpkin on the nose, just cinnamon & alcohol. Sweet cream, pumpkin spice up front accompanied by light alcohol flavor. No hint of pumpkin flavor. A perfect combination in coffee! 4 Thumbs up by itself and 8 thumbs up in coffee!
Kimber Micro 9..always in my pocket if I leave the house unless I know I’m not getting out of the car, in which case it’s in the cup holder lightly covered..
Bottom line: Smells of white grapes and more like a white wine. A little to highly carbonated and very dry. Slightly sour with no sweetness. 4 thumbs down!
