Was bland but the crispy bits had better flavor, think the mush still had a high moisture content and now it’s outside in the sun to dry up 🤣🤣🤣

I've had that happen, you may be right on the moisture part. A little crispiness helps it a bunch for flavor. While I've never tried it, I've read about adding bacon or sausage crumbles to it before refrigerating. I might try that next time I make some.


Wife went to farmers market yesterday so I’m having a fresh peach & a slice or 2 of sourdough lemon bread and a apple fritter 

Not very healthy but incredibly tasty 🤣🤣
