I wonder how much velocity you would actually see from the carbine. The 10mm is extremely efficient and I will often times see lower velocity from my 1911 long slide than I will from my 5” 10mms.

Hmm. I guess you’re right. It’s pretty optimized for pistol. I just did a Quick look and I didn’t see anything about a load optimized for rifle/carbine. What about a slower burning powder?
