How Crazy Is I???? - Rampy - 11-07-2024 Went and booked a hotel in DC for Trump’s inauguration 😱😬🥶🥶🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Had a moment of brilliance & booked the next to the last room at all of $120 a night It’s actually on a joint Army/Marine base that butts up to Arlington National Cemetery (and had a walk in gate, need to check on that) Researching public transportation in DC now, I’m not sure I’m capable of all the walking required to attend Trumps inauguration but if nothing more it’s a excuse in mental masturbation 🤣🤣🤣 RE: How Crazy Is I???? - Rampy - 11-07-2024 Wife thinks I’m nutz and not even sure she can get off work RE: How Crazy Is I???? - olfart - 11-07-2024 I agree with your wife. Attending that event will require a LOT of walking and standing unless you get seated in the VIP area. RE: How Crazy Is I???? - tommag - 11-07-2024 It would be nice to be there but it damn sure wouldn't be easy. RE: How Crazy Is I???? - specops56 - 11-07-2024 There is nothing that would tempt me to ever step foot in that ultimate den of iniquity! Good luck brother! Terry RE: How Crazy Is I???? - MontanaLon - 11-07-2024 There are a couple different metro stations in that area. As I recall, Rosslyn and Arlington Cemetery. I think the Arlington stop is closest then on to the Pennsylvania Ave stop. Might be a mile of walking on each end. But it is DC, you can get an uber to drop you door to door and there is a good chance the driver will be military working a side hustle. I am pretty sure I walked it a couple of times going to the hobby shop at Henderson Hall. Don't even know if that is still there, just remember walking through part of the cemetery to get to it. Good luck brother! we are really debating going, guess it boils down to my wanting to be a grain of rice in the bucket showing Trump some love and support it’s a patriotic thing I’d really love to see the ceremony in person, experience the electricity it’s stupid, but also emotional for some reason RE: How Crazy Is I???? - Rampy - 11-07-2024 (11-07-2024, 09:05 AM)olfart Wrote: I agree with your wife. I’ve reached out to a couple guys to see if it’s even possible to get up close in a VIP section Will see what they say RE: How Crazy Is I???? - Rampy - 11-07-2024 (11-07-2024, 09:18 PM)MontanaLon Wrote: There are a couple different metro stations in that area. From what I understand after 9/11 the gate between the cemetery & post was closed & now it’s only open certain times & for funerals & its 100% ID check both ways when open im lucky to walk 600 feet anymore no way could I walk a mile RE: How Crazy Is I???? - specops56 - 11-08-2024 (11-07-2024, 10:44 PM)Rampy Wrote: we are really debating going, guess it boils down to my wanting to be a grain of rice in the bucket showing Trump some love and support You already did with your vote.
