RIP Flesh Wound - mountaineer - 12-06-2024

I wanted to let people that knew him from the Armory that Flesh Wound passed away yesterday.

He had a heart attack on July 3rd and was in hospitals and care facilities trying to get well enough to go home, but his heart was just too damaged and he just kept getting worse.  Yesterday his wife (his two year anniversary was in November) made the difficult decision to let him go.

He will be missed.

The name Flesh Wound does not ring any bells

Hopefully his passing was painless & peaceful

How old was he?

I don't know his age, but iirc, his avatar was a bandaged finger.

RIP, Fleshwound, I had several conversations with him. He helped me a lot when I was getting into 3D printing. Heckuva nice guy.

RIP. He was as well known and respected as any member in the Armory.

RIP brother

That’s too bad.

There was a conversation back then on the old hangout. He cut himself and found he didn’t need stitches- a literal flesh wound - and in the thread I was like, “REALLY?!? No one is going to mention that it’s just a FLESHWOUND?”
