Timney trigger and 80% lowers - tommag - 12-11-2023 It's something I did years ago, maybe I posted it on the armory. I have one 80 I whittled that functions fine with regular trigger groups but when the Timney cassette was used, I could pull the trigger on safe and it would go off when I moved the selector to fire. It functions fine in other 80s. Any ideas? For what it's worth, all of my 80s are looking good, not like some of the abortions seen on the web. RE: Timney trigger and 80% lowers - srjdsmith - 12-12-2023 Have you tried the trigger in a factory machined lower? I have almost all 80’s. I have a go/no go block for the fire control pocket, but I’ve never had one fail- and since I’ve been using a router, my pockets look really great. But I don’t know about trigger pin holes. I wish someone made a jig that would fit from the side and help determine if all the safety and trigger pin holes were within spec. RE: Timney trigger and 80% lowers - tommag - 12-12-2023 I have no factory lowers. |
