Field report - srjdsmith - 01-06-2024 We had 2 doe tags left. Now we have 1. AR pistol, 450 Bushmaster, 10.5” barrel, 100 yards, through and through, Hornady Black 250 gr FTX RE: Field report - srjdsmith - 01-06-2024 I’m very impressed with the deadliness and accuracy of this pistol. We got her home and took her jacket off. It turns out I hit her twice. Both shots hit lungs- one hit a rib on the way in and shoulder on the way out. Both bullets passed completely through. I was quite happy to discover that I didn’t miss the first shot. (But a lung shot will often move a few yards. I should know better, but when she kept walking, I shot again.)
