Henry Big Boy X Lever Action - Rampy - 01-07-2024

I’ve narrowed down what I’m looking for in a lever action rifle legal in every state as well as Canada

A 45 Colt lever action rifle with a 17.4 inch barrel loaded with Garrett 405grain hammer head ammo hits harder than the original black powder 45/70 out of the Springfield carbine 😳

Chances are I’d put a stock and handguard on from this company along with a stock quiver and a handguard quiver for 7 rds loaded and 2-6rd quivers

Only question is what kind of optic, red dot of some kind or a scout rifle scope LPVO scope?

A 3X prism scope might be just the thing. Small footprint with just enough magnification to be useful and low enough to still snap shoot with it.

I like that, not to big and unwieldy and should pair quite nicely with a 45 Colt out of a rifle
