in defense of trailer trash - tommag - 03-10-2024

I've owned a couple of houses but have lived in several trailer parks. I'm currently living in one now. Maybe I'm just lucky, but this is what I've experienced.
Most of us have a screw loose but are good people, over all. I had a neighbor that became a good friend. He thought the gov was wiping out his electronics with narrowly targeted emps. I managed to talk him off that ledge by explaining how that wasn't likely, probably wasn't possible. Eventually his demons got the better of him and he committed suicide.
RIP, JD.
Yep, he had some funny thoughts, but a more loyal ally couldn't be found anywhere.
We've had a few problems with thieves, and most have been handled in house. While that's not according to Hoyle it results in our park not being attractive to mopes. There have been occasional incidents where the authorities have been involved, but not many. On one event, the local PD MAY have witnessed an event and MAY have said "good job". I MAY have been involved in that.
Yep, we're pretty redneck here, but I like it that way.
