No licensed Firearms Sign?? - Rampy - 03-29-2024 Walked into a restaurant in Amarillo & they had a sign saying possession of non licensed firearms is a crime on this premises Did not know you had to license firearms in Texas The hotel had a big sign saying no open carrying of firearms as that’s a crime These are the first 2 firearms signs of any kind I’ve come across & I’ve been looking RE: No licensed Firearms Sign?? - tommag - 03-29-2024 Probably means non ccw licensed? RE: No licensed Firearms Sign?? - specops56 - 03-29-2024 Take your money somewhere else. Let them know why. Terry RE: No licensed Firearms Sign?? - Rampy - 03-29-2024 I just ignored the sign, what people don’t know does not hurt them Was hungry & it was extremely tasty just before the dinner rush Open carry does not apply RE: No licensed Firearms Sign?? - olfart - 03-29-2024 You'll find a lot of signs in Texas that say "The unlicensed carrying of a firearm on these premises is prohibited." Or words to that effect. In other words, if you have a license to carry, so long as it stays concealed you're good. But no, the firearms themselves are not licensed in Texas. Your LEOSA card will work in this case. Or just keep it concealed and go on about your business, which is what I do. RE: No licensed Firearms Sign?? - Rampy - 03-30-2024 The signs just confused me & not seeing any in a huge college party island and then seeing them here in Amarillo was the last thing i expected Wife thought I was full of shit saying it’s further from our house to South Padre Island than it is to the Pacific Ocean 🤣🤣 |
