Just your mention of egg drop soup triggered a strong craving. There's very little that's as fast and easy to make as egg drop soup. The local grocery store has chicken breasts on sale so I'm simmering 1/2 breast that I'll shred and add some of it to the soup for extra substance. Without adding chicken meat it only takes maybe 20 minutes to make a pot.
We had a "Mess" for dinner today. No photo, as I was too busy eating it to photograph it. Not very photogenic anyway, as it resembles its name. Sausage, bacon, onion, hash browns, cheese and scrambled eggs, all piled together on the plate.
