Back in the day, you know, when lasers required a power supply and were barely hand holdable because of the size. I had a photography project that I borrowed a laser from school. It was a timed exposure using the laser to trace the school letters on our football announcing box. It was really hard to do but I managed to trace them by repeating the trace multiple times and averaging out the wiggles. I also did one with F^^^ CHS that was a hit with the few people who ever saw it.
