I got to thinking, since several of us are hams, it would be cool to co-ordinate a meetup on the air, maybe even a roundtable. Obviously, with the wwdx contest going on until 2400z today, this wouldn't work today as the frequencies are so full now. Maybe on a non weekend we could get together. My muf is usually up to 28mhz by 1700z until around 0200z. I can operate from 20m to 10m. Also, 6m but it's so sporadic so it's not worth trying.
Is anyone else interested in skedding this?

All of my HF antennas are inoperable at present. The triband beam is corroded, and the rotator no longer works. The G5RV ladder line feed is shot, and the antenna is draped over a tower guy wire. At 83 years old, I've lost my zest for climbing towers.

The hexbeam looks a lot like the MFJ Cobweb I was thinking about buying before they went under. I wanted the 40m add-on, but never got around to ordering the antenna.

I would be interested in a regular sked. Might be a while before I can get back on the air. My garage is so piled up with stuff right now I can barely get to my shack corner. After we can release Houdini back into gen pop I can devote more time to getting it cleaned out and re-organized for the millionth time.

Im probably too optimistic but if we had a regular get together it could turn into a net and maybe get a few others into the forum by labeling it the alpharomeo15.org net. Keep it between 28.3 and 28.497 so as to allow techs to join in. That's wishful thinking as I think only 4 of us are hams.
