Talking to a friend who is in the same hotel (military base) with retired federal government LEOSA credentials (he worked in DC) as well as being retired military 

Things are sporty, lots of canceled events, lots of SOTA tech and even with his credentials he can’t go anywhere armed with even a Swiss army pocket knife……

Asked another friend who’s son is a LEO in the area….he said “that’s why we went to Tampa for the week” 😱😱🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

27 Degrees and we're still running space heaters. I have one in the bedroom we run at night, 2 in the main room during the day and a small one in my office where I am right now. I have another one as backup in case one craps out. We run them until the temp gets to what we want then turn it off again. I don't have the 13 grand in cash to replace it and I refuse to go in debt. When the price of silver goes up again I'll cash enough out to pay for it.

Ugh…….not good, sorry to hear…and woza is that expensive for a heater…..wicked expensive, did not know silver had dropped, last I looked it was way to pricy for us….

Still recovering from gong into debt for the dog and Christmas travel, but wanted to do something for the girls and take the wife home to see family 

We paid just under $5k in 99 or 00 for a Lennox 2 stage high efficiency (low 90% it seems) natural gas and I thought it was outrageous
