It’s 66 degrees at my house with winds 20 mph, heavy rain and thunder storms expected any minute and a tornado warning already. The winds are supposed to get up to at least 58 mph.It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

It turned out to be a big nothing. Got pretty nasty this morning but about an hour later the rain and wind stopped and the sun came out and it turned out to be a nice day at my house.

Same in eastern Iowa. It rained and looked like ice developing by Wednesday morning and they predicted 1-3” of snow. 3” of snow on top of freezing rain can be treacherous! They called a ‘virtual day’ and I stayed home and put a lesson on the internet & met with students over Zoom. But the weather did nothing- not cold enough for freezing rain and only a dusting of snow. I still enjoyed sitting by the fireplace “teaching” from home.

Same. 36° and snowing like crazy. “Winter Weather Alert” and still supposed to get up to 38°. Near 70° predicted for next week

We have 35 headed for 71 today. Has anybody heard from Tom lately? It's unlike him to go several days without posting.
