Friend, when you figure it out, let me know. There’s nothing lovable or redeemable about me- but apparently it happened.
When I was a chemist (before turning social studies teacher) I pretty much idolized a brilliant scientist named A.E. Wilder-Smith. I heard him lecture on some of his books- his theories and ideas (he’s a published author, if you’re interested) and he referenced John 8:32 “the truth will set you free.” His point was; there’s no dichotomy between science and biblical truth. If you’re not running around looking for answers that are already known, you’re free to look for answers to other questions. The particular books of his he was speaking about were, “The Creation of Life” and “Man’s Origin Man’s Destiny”. Neither is an easy read, but pretty interesting.
