Brother in law update.

He's out of the hospital and back home. I talked to him on the phone yesterday. I'm giving him a couple of weeks to rest and then I'll head down to Alabama for a few days to help him get his final arrangements in order. Hopefully he won't need them for a long time. However, he's still a heavy smoker despite the COPD and this near miss so it's doubtful.

Maybe you could bring him a pack of Zin or ON pouches. It's still nicotine but it's not smoke. Since he's a heavy smoker start with the highest nicotine content. I'm pretty sure ON offers the highest nicotine content.

He's already said he has no intention to quit smoking. Nothing, even life, is more important to an addict than that next hit.

I understand that, I'm a lifelong smoker myself. I've found that the pouches can replace cigarettes but you run the risk of smoking while using the pouches, increasing the nicotine addiction.
