A willful violation of our civil rights has a criminal penalty, if a cop were to do it. “Public health emergency,” she calls it. She admits criminals will ignore her ruling.
If the state can suspend rights during an emergency, then a full-time emergency is inevitable. Rights cannot be suspended. Ever.
Why exactly should we need to sue this governor when the government is prohibited from infringing on our rights in the first place?
