4 years ago, I went to bed feeling good, tonight I won't allow it

Many of you probably did the same thing. Trump was ahead when you went to bed and in the morning biden was the winner.

I am getting that deja feeling all over again. It is interesting to watch the "called" races, particularly because no 2 networks have the same numbers which means the whole thing is just bullshit.

By my guess the counters in the swing states will start stopping for the night in about an hour and 20 minutes and who knows what will happen then.

There is a cure for that happening again and that is to have the ballots counted, not tabulated, just counted, as in "we have 2,123,456 ballots cast in the election that remain to be tabulated". Then they can't say, "we found" 400,000 more ballots and our guy won.

The mail in ballot situation is completely ridiculous and I would bet if California were to be forced to show up to vote the democrats would lose control of the state.

Same. It’s midnight. I’m tired. I have to teach tomorrow. Four years ago I went to bed with the map looking a lot like this. During the night Wisconsin did its mathematically impossible curve and I woke up to a blue world. Good night.

To borrow a phrase from Hugh Hewitt, if it ain't close they can't cheat. I firmly believe we've reached that point.
What a great night!

It appears that he also won the popular vote, so maybe we can avoid 4 years of lawfare. Last I saw, Jamie Raskin was still threatening to refuse to certify the vote in an effort to keep him out of the White House.
I hope he's able to pick good people to fix things, especially the doj. We've been told most rank and file FBI guys are good, it's just a few bad apples. More and more it seems like the cancer has metastasized fully. I would be lost trying to fix that agency.

I wouldn't count on it. So far everyone he's picked(JD, RFK, Tulsi,Ron) except Elon, has come from inside the beltway. He was originally elected because he wasn't a politician or swamp rat but that's what he seems to fill his administration with. Why doesn't he fill it with businessmen and political outsiders like him?

Terry.

I think like minded insiders can be a good thing as long as they're on the same page. They already have knowledge of the system.

He's going to have writer's cramp just from signing all those orders that he has someone else draw up for him. In fact, they're probably already working on them. Of course some he can just resurrect from the first time around and sign them again with a new date.
