Lightweight build I put together for my wife.

I'm not made of money, so I didn't get crazy obsessive over shaving every possible ounce.
Instead, I concentrated on the parts that are typically most heavy, and went as lightweight as I could afford to on those parts. (no titanium for this puppy)

GWACS Armory CAV-15 polymer lower
Faxon 16" pencil barrel
SLR Rifleworks adjustable gas block
CG-6 Epsilon muzzle brake (she chose it - "It looks badass" were her exact words)
Right to Bear 8.9 oz Lightweight BCG
Taccom Ultra Lightweight 2.2 oz buffer system w/10% reduced power buffer spring
ALG Defense anodized purple handguard
Magpul MBUIS
Sig Romeo MSR red dot (current configuration)

I love this carbine so much, I plan to build a clone of it for myself one day.
For now though, she doesn't mind if I borrow it.
SO nice to shoot. There's no recoil and the muzzle doesn't move. I can shoot it with one hand outstretched.
It's like shooting a .22LR

At 5.07 lbs, It's a solid 2 lbs lighter (including the optic) than a comparable size "standard" carbine without optic and BUIS
