Colt Python Grips

I’m ordering these sights, just not sure if I want gold bead of fiber optic, I’m leaning towards fiber optic

Those do look nice.  I opted for white gold bead for the front in the Wilson’s and the square notch target reads.  Almost impossible to find in stock right now but optics planet had both and actually shipped them out so that’s good. 

I ended up ordering this set of altamont grips
this evening, hoping they are as good as they look in the picture -

Went with the fiber optic front sight, will see how it works out.

I just got a 6" Python the other day, and though the first thing I ordered were the wilson combat front and rear sights for it, I have been looking at grips.  Altamont has a nice set that I like, but I also kind of like the stock grips as well so I am not sure.  I for sure wont be concealing a 6" python so I wont have to worry about that when selecting the grips at least.

Altamont from what I’ve been reading makes the vast majority of S&W and Colt’s grips and they are having more QC issues as it seems they grew to big to fast 

Hopefully they have a handle on the growing pains

That would not surprise me.  They were up front when I ordered those that it might take 2-4 weeks for finishing.  They mentioned that they are made to order from blanks, but its not like I don't have stock grips to use in the meantime so the wait time doesnt bother me much.  We shall see how they look when they arrive though.

Those grips are stunning!  Great choice!!

Got the sights & grips, really like the fiber optic front sight…rear sight is annoying me with my 1.75 hands, just could not get it installed so got pissed At myself & took it to a local gunsmith & having it installed

Grips, really like em, but have enough extra hanging over the backstrap I took pictures & sent em off asking if it was acceptable
