See if you can find John while you're up there. I've wondered how he has fared post armory.

Don’t know where to look or even his last name

He said he's in southern Illinois, and his name is John. How hard could that be?

I have that info. I don’t want to post it but I can message it to someone if they want to follow up. I haven’t gotten a response.

in Tennessee now, not sure of the route home, but might pass thru southern Illinois on the way home

if it’s anywhere close to our route would try and find him

It would be nice to recreate what we had at the armory but I'm not holding my breath. Another thing I miss is TJ's story time. Tackleberry brought a wealth of AR-15 knowledge.

Augie and Tack were the first two to answer my EMBARRASSINGLY naive questions in the newcomer forum. After getting ridiculed on (another) AR forum, I figured I’d found the right people…

I know TJ is somewhere around here, but don’t know his real name or where to look. He gave me lots of insight on what’s around here & where he rode his motorcycle but I can’t yell are you TJ at every motorcycle I see 🤣🤣🤣

I need a drink, these hills get DARK & very narrow & twisty……and we are up a paved goat trail with hairpin turns and no guardrails
