Got spooked, but good news.

Doctor thought I might've had a stroke or two. MRI showed no brain damage and ultra sound of carotid was fairly clean.
I was afraid I'd have to take myself off the road. I make too much to give that up!  Times aren't as good as they were, but it's still very profitable.  I just got set back 50k at the beginning of the year from a catastrophic engine failure and couldn't recoup the cost by selling my tractor.
As near as I can see, my tractor, trailer, and myself are good to go for a while.
Thank you, Father!

Take it easy and take care of both you and the truck and you will get to the finish line.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel….or is that a train?

Thanks  TT. This crate motor broke in at only 28k miles. 16k this oil change and only 1/2 gallon consumed. I've never seen a series 60 this tight.  Hopefully my own personal oil consumption is that good.
BTW, it's good to see you online again!

Been super busy. I lurk when I get a few seconds to look at my phone. My brother died this morning after a weird illness. I was kept in the dark about him being sick and was kept in the dark until it was too late to go see him before he died. Real fun knowing you other brother and own mother kept it a secret from me.

Anyway, just been slammed working two jobs and dealing with my horses.

It's a 2000 freightliner fld. It was built in 99, so it's exempt from the electronic log thing. 2013 utility refrigerated trailer.

Ahh, antique macks. I always thought the old b series were the cutest trucks!
At one time I fantasized about turning a b61 into a heavy duty pickup.
