Talking to a friend who is currently a K9 handler on a very active team with a decorated bomb dog 

He was saying that they were briefed that dogs can not smell the explosives used in the pagers and radios & that it also does not shown up when swabbing for explosives

Semi- tongue-in-cheek. I don’t expect Israel to blow me up. But, now that the word’s out, will China place explosives in Baofengs just in case? I put the same on a Reddit GMRS sub (yes, being a smart-alek) and someone responded wondering if preppers would need to be careful now that it’s known what the Mossad did there.

Between the coms and taking out senior leadership they've effectively softened the target as near as I can tell but I'm no tactician, let alone a strategist. Anyway, I'll be glued to the news sites for awhile.
