Oh Canada…….

Wife had a family emergency up here in Canada so we drove up.

In Toronto, very rude assholes when they find out we are American & the wife was actually verbally attacked for marrying a American and so on so forth 

It’s filthy, druggies, trash, just looks like a inner city garbage dump 

The further west we went, the nicer and polite people were as well as cleaner 

In Saskatchewan now…..people have been nice and friendly

The news is constantly saying how Trump’s tariffs are attacking Canada. How trust with the states has been violated and will take decades to repair if ever 

How tariffs are paid by the American & not Canada & in 5 years this will be proven to be a boom as Canada is buying Canadian and building Canada instead of importing from the states 

It’s like Trump is a Canadian politician as wound up Canada is….the PM ran on a anti Trump platform and he lies to the people so he looks good Doug Ford is constantly attacking the states and Trump turn off the electricity to the states, see how Trump likes that 

Stop selling Canadian oil to the states, they will run out of oil then and on and on 

Gas was $1.85/9 a liter out east & we paid $163/9 liter today 

I was told they pay .50 cents per liter federal tax, then .17 cents a liter provincial tax & then you have local taxes of a few cents 

Canadians we have talked to don’t understand how little Americans care about Canada as it’s nothing down south like it is up here 

Oh and some bridge opening really has Canadians would up as Trump…but I don’t remember what and why 

I’ve never seen such a huge rift between Canada and the states it’s all I see on the news, tons of anti American propaganda and down right lies constantly repeating over and over 

Carney will save Canada & when I show this, I get called a liar

1) Canadians are rude. They claim to be ‘polite’ but if they were actually polite, they won’t have to say “sooory” 500 times a day, now would they? And they will ‘politely’ remind you, repeatedly, how polite they are 🤣 😆 either implying or explicitly saying how impolite YOU are. Politely, of course.
2) Canadians, at least western Canadians, have always been obsessed with US politics and have always been jealous and resentful of the U.S. (I remember one year my brother-in-law griping about how the U.S. was going to “take” all the flu vaccine from Canada for Americans… 🙄 I reminded him that EVERY flue vaccine bound for Canada would be enough for, maybe, one state like CA or TX) This current kafuffle is simply their excuse to finally openly express their resentment of the U.S.

I have noticed in Ontario you had more Pakistani and Indian than white peoples 

further west we go the lesss brown people and more white peoples
